INGREDIENTS FOR THIS RECIPE

PREPARATION

  1. Slice apart the tops and bottoms of the rolls.
  2. Wrap each hot dog with one slice of bacon, at an angle, covering the whole hot dog. Use small toothpicks to hold the ends of bacon in place if necessary.
  3. Grill bacon-wrapped hot dogs over medium-high heat turning frequently to ensure all sides of bacon-wrapped hot dogs are cooked thoroughly.
  4. While hot dogs are cooking, start to heat your refried beans.
  5. Slice onion into 1/2 inch rounds. Place rounds through a grilling skewer. Cover with olive oil, salt and pepper, Grill until tender.
  6. Towards the end of your hot dogs' grilling, throw your peppers on the grill until they blister to your preference. Remove hot dogs and peppers from heat when ready.
  7. Cut hotdogs wrapped in bacon in half lengthwise. Then, cut again into quarters. Slice the grilled onions into bite size pieces.
  8. Build your Sonoran Dog slider in this order: KING'S HAWAIIAN® Original Hawaiian Sweet Roll, refried beans, bacon-wrapped hot dog (2 quarters), top with tomatoes, avocado, grilled onions, mayo, mustard, hot sauce, sprinkles of cheese, and a grilled jalapeno on the side.
